Relevant Mentions policy

The launch beta provides opt-in enrollment, policy acceptance, and pause controls. Matching and placements are not active. Any later editorial-matching release must follow this policy and will never guarantee a placement or search outcome.

Eligibility

A paid workspace may request enrollment and explicitly opt in. Participation can be paused or revoked at any time. Enrollment does not activate or promise matching.

Future matching gate

Before matching can be enabled, opportunities must be evaluated for topical fit, reader usefulness, audience overlap, competitive conflicts, source quality, placement diversity, and restricted categories. Publishers must retain final editorial approval.

Disallowed behavior

No purchased placement disguised as independent endorsement, keyword-stuffed anchors, irrelevant cross-linking, direct-competitor routing, restricted claims, hidden links, cloaking, or promises of domain rating, ranking, traffic, or revenue.

Monitoring and removal gate

No placement workflow will be enabled until OpenDraft can record the source, target, context, approval, and current status of each controlled mention and support participant removal requests. The current beta creates no placements.
